Bringing the Taste of Philly to Texas. From a humble food truck to a full house in Katy, TX — Philly Flats is a Marine Veteran's dream to serve the taste of Philly to Houston, TX and everyone who is from the Tri-State area. We have one goal — make every bite taste like Philly. Born on wheels, Philly Flats hit the streets with Authentic cheesesteaks and a growing fanbase. We are honored and humbled to be in the Texan's stadium for the past 3 years. Serving Philly Cheese Steaks and Wings in multiple concession stands. In a little over 5 years, we opened our brick-and-mortar in Katy. Family owned and operated with the attitude and all the great tastes of home.
Food Truck Beginnings
We began our journey in 2017 selling Cheese Steaks and Burgers from our Quaker Steaks Food Truck. Over the years we refined our menu and realized that we have a classic American Menu that is hard to pass up. Scott is a retired Marine who started his career in the food service industry. He has been preparing food and feeding people for over 30 years. Raised in Reading, PA., Scott knows what it takes to make a great tasting food which includes his house made wings, wagyu burgers, and famous Philidelphia cheese steaks. We are certain you will taste the difference and won't walk away disappointed or hungry!
New Brick & Mortar
Our success on the streets led us to open our first permanent location. This beautiful space allows us to expand our menu, create memorable dining experiences, and build deeper connections with our community. The warm, inviting atmosphere reflects our commitment to hospitality while maintaining the authentic flavors that made us who we are.
